you have seen the past

once through the eyes in your hands
once in your mind in your head

how you fight fight and fight
but you never connect

you have to see the past

once through the hands in her eyes
once in the scar on your arm

now you fight fight and fight
but you never forget

once through the hands in your eyes
at this pace
once through the wind in your mind
you won't last

so once through the eyes in your hands
once in your mind in your head

you must see the past
