i sleep for eight hours a day
with a lunch break and
two fifteen minute breaks
i come in grudgingly
in the morning
check in
settle into my sleepspace
i then sleep
as fast as i can
trying to get all the more
difficult dreams
out of the way first
i break for lunch in a panic
wondering whether i'm
going to lose my sleep
over working and
speaking my mind
too much
i then return to my bed
and finish the day off
tossing and turning
dreading the time to go to work
where i will have
to sleep
some more
