The Thought (#11)

June 3, 1998

He sits there,
        In silent agony—
Troublesome thoughts won't leave his mind.

After a while,
        He closes his eyes—
Trying to forget the future and the past.

He contemplates,
        He then remembers—
Only the present is to change.

He looks at his surroundings,
        Regaining conscience—
Only to plunge back into thought.

But reconsiders,
        His beliefs—
He flows about.
       He is unsure.

How to distinguish,
        Plain logic and theory...
  From the Truth...

He understands,
        Some themes although existing...
...Description they don't seek.

He breaks,
        The magic circle.
He understands.
        He knows.
