Dirty Limericks XI

Michael's pal, L⸺, would often be blowin'
Here an air kiss, there great shows of lovin'.
Still, it suited their ends, once to state, "we're not friends,"
Say their piece, then summarily leave.

E⸺, who seducèd a scholar,
Was in love with his gentleman caller
But one day, by and by, said "I don’t have the time,"
"Either to savour or swallow."

Our man Càppelbaum had felt quite terse
When one day he found all the verse
His beloved he gave on a shelf in a shop,
So he bought back the lot as he cursed.
